I painted this in 1995 while attending art school at The University of Science and Art of Oklahoma. It's an historical landmark in the city of Chicksasha, Oklahoma. A small creek flows under it and into the duck pond of Shannon Springs Park. The ripples in the water have a calming effect on most who have seen this piece.
