Wasatch Sunrise at Ogden Farmers' Market

This art won the 2nd Place Award in the 2012 Ogden Utah Arts Farmers Market Poster competition. It depicts a few of the fresh-from-the-farm fruits, veggies and flowers available at this Saturday morning market. Also in the background is a depiction of sunrise in the Ogden Canyon where farms are located that bring their crops to the market.
Hard and soft dry pastels were applied on illustration board coated with black gesso mixed with fine pumice powder to provide an interesting texture.
