This month we're doing something a bit different. We're giving members a chance to do up to five different US State Flowers. That's right; over 50 flowers to choose from this month (some states have more than one official flower). To be eligible, you need to make sure you cite which state your flower represents as part of your artist statement. Want a comprehensive list of which flowers are eligible? We're basing our criteria on the list of US state flowers at Wikipedia.

Any and all materials may be used to create your entry. An artist's statement is required with every entry. Tell us about the materials and process you used to create your entry and don't forget to include which state your flower represents! Your statement is an important element in presenting your work online and helps make your work more accessible for the viewer. If texture or other small elements are pivotal to the piece, detail shots are encouraged. Eligible entries must meet all points of the prospectus.
