This is my submission to the Flower of the Month for January, 2010. Kiki is a sculptural piece formed out of copper using stakes and hammers. There are 4 main pieces to Kiki and all are attached with a bolt for easy assembly. This is a wall hanging or can be displayed on a small easel as an object. The metal was painted with various layers of flat white and water soluble oils. Kiki was part of a joint colaborative project, "The ORCHID Project; aka The Three Amigos do FOTM" where Kris Jean, Donna and I used the same orchid plant for reference for all three of our submissions.
