
The deep purple of this iris is such a striking contrast to the yellow detail on the petals. It's one of my favorite flowers when they manage to survive the onslaught of the deer. This was created from a photo taken last year. Processed in Studio Artist with some post processing in Photoshop.
Whether it is a Siberian, Dutch or Japanese iris eludes me, but I am leaning towards Dutch. Perhaps someone can provide the definitive answer.
