This painting depicts my dogs and their friends. Blue, my alpha husky is in the foreground, welcoming the others to the House of Dogs. (I have a sign that hangs over my front door that says House of Dogs.)
To the left of Blue is Trouble, our black lab who followed us home from the park a year ago. To his left is Goldie, another husky who ran out in front of my husband's car back in July of this year. He stopped in time to avoid hitting her and brought her home. After a fruitless search for her owner, we decided to keep her.
To Goldie's left is Blue as a puppy. The girl husky wearing the dress is Cleopatra. Holding her paw is Max, my first husky who is no longer with us. Cleopatra is walking Tigress, a rescued Amstaff/Mastiff mix, on a leash.
I only have five dogs, so the others are friends and possibly future pets. Oh, they do allow dancing cats in the House of Dogs.
