
Here in Yosemite National Park, a few lone trees stand delicately in the foreground of a snow-covered meadow. In the center, a dark row of trees stand starkly against a beautifully textured mountainside.
"I love the transition and flow from this beautifully soft and peaceful wonderland below to the hard, rocky and mighty strength of the solid edifice above. Such a contradiction in the visuals, but really such a way of setting off the innate natural beauty of both. An interesting disparate physical image (but a very enjoyable one, nevertheless) is the reversal of roles of mass and lightness.
