This year, we're tackling all four seasons. We've finally arrived at the last season on this year's schedule: Autumn. Here's your chance to create artwork that epitomizes everything autumn has to offer.
It doesn't get much more simple than this: create art featuring cats and dogs. Preferably together, but seperately is acceptable as well. It just isn't as much fun.
This month, we want you to seek out and celebrate plants tough enough to survive the harsh extremes of life on the prairie.

August brings us to our biennial Plein Air exhibit. Every other year we invite you to gather your art supplies and head out to the great outdoors. As part of our Summer Exhibit Trio, we're asking you to to create work featuring butterflies and moths, proud pollinators for our FOTM exhibit. We would prefer depictions of ACTUAL species found in nature, not made-up critters. Please include the species name if known.

We're doing a trio of summer-related exhibits this month. This exhibit should exude the spirit of summer: the heat, the lushness, the freedom. The living is easy.
