This piece began as a study of contrasting triangles. As I started the piece I saw a mental image of trees and began to create white trees on a multi colored sky background. The piece quickly flipped in my mind to become multi colored trees against what I pictured as a snowy winter scene. Although not done as a holiday piece this has become in my mind a scene of decorated holiday trees.
