Delilah was created using oils on mdf board.  The painting deals with abuse and the loss of strength that can follow.  This painting shows what can happen when we loose the sense of self that is imprtant to being a complete person.  She is filled with despair, the cutting of her hair seems to be the last of her strength, the glass of wine to numb the pain... However, while she has such a look of despair, we can hope that this is a turning point for her
