Poised on the edge of my imagination, balancing calmly on the tip of a surreal situation, this image is from a body of work which I have dubbed “Surrealities.” Executed using calming gray and contrasting black colored pencils, I worked to achieve subtle marks, a luminous backdrop and an overall sense of calm.
