- Flapper in Blue
FLAPPER IN BLUE is an original mixed media artist card on 2.5 x 3.5 inch illustration board. Flapper girls of the 1920's have always fascinated me. They represent the risque nature of the era and all the vices that go along with it. This art nouveau lady was inspired by retro postcards of the twenties. Various paints, pencils, markers and papers were used to create this piece. It is well bonded and covered with Liquitex Matt Gel Medium for durability.
