I love books. I love dragons. I love silly little poems i make up while i draw. So, I have combined these things on one very small card!
The poem reads:
Do not fear this beast, raging through the sky, against the dark clouds, gasping fire and smoke, on the wings of eternity, never to be broken.
Note his royal gaping mouth, obliged to frighten to terror grand men and peasants alike. And his outstretched talons, ready to silence the ones destined to evildoings.
Do not fear this beast, rough with scales and secrets; arcane magic in his glance, great mysteries hidden, observed long ago, never to be spoken.
This is an original ACEO (Art Cards, Editions, and Originals) done in archival inks and colored pencil on Strathmore Bristol. This piece is signed and dated on the back.
