Art: Dislocation by Artist Ruth Edward Anderson
This piece is about having M.S. (Multiple Sclerosis) a chronic illness of the Central Nervous System with no cure.  You develop lesions in your brain & the CNS doesn't always send the correct signels to your body.  So you may have M.S. attacks where you can't walk or you get spasms, etc.  If you're lucky everything comes back again after treatment.
This beautiful sculpture is about Hope.  The Buffalo were almost extinct but they came back in strong number so I used a Buffalo Jawbone has a symbol of renewal.  My own hand is holding my broken head which with love, hope & medicine has started to heal.
