Visiting Taos Pueblo, NM was really a wonderful experience for me. However, when I return home with my altered photographs I felt like something was missing from them. Though I loved the simple compostions and primitive forms , it was the spirit of the pueblo that touched my soul. So, I continued to work on the polaroid using a variety of techniques until I reached a point of satisfaction. Here I feel I created the "spirit" of the pueblo which was far more colorful in my mind than the monochromatic earthtones in my pictures.
