"He has lived a good life. As he gets on in age the 'spurs' on his legs grow long. His proud head bows and his elongated tail feathers fan in the slightest breeze. He is an 'old rooster' in his golden days."
Artist comment: "This is a study of a 'white' rooster on Canson Mi-Teintes paper. I wanted to punch up the impressionistic atmosphere and have a wonderful time with color. It worked, as you can see, because ovarall there is an explosion of every color in my pastel box."
