Art: Gitchee Gummi Ice by Artist Stephanie M. Daigle

Gitchee Gummi is the given American Indian name for Lake Superior. Much of my work is Lake Superior inspired as is this stunning pendant.

Wire wrapped in Sterling silver this pendant is just shy of two inches long from the top of the sturdy sterling jumpring to the bottom of the Swarovski crystal dangles. The warring states style focal is accompanied by two small lampwork spacers to complete the pendant. The large lampwork focal contains Dichroic glass for extra shimmer and sparkle, and comes ready for you to hang on your favorite chain or cord.

Pendant will come in a gift box.

Each of my beads is lovingly hand made, one at a time, using 104 coe Italian glass and the flame of my Lynx torch. My beads go directly into the kiln for a proper annealing bath, which will help ensure that they last until the end of time. Of course, we are talking about glass, and some care must be taken with it to help ensure this end.

This work is for sale and listed in my bead store on etsy
