Those of you who know me, know that I am obsessed with nautilus shells! I collect them as well as fossil ammonites. I have several "tiger nautilus" shells and wanted to do a portrait with one - accenting it with the Tiger Lily flower (since I like the sound of both having the word "tiger" in them). A beautiful, slightly sad looking girl. This piece debuted and sold at the Celebration Spring Art Festival in 2012. This is my own original acrylic painting. Even though the original has sold, prints & posters will be up for sale soon!
