This is just a fun piece I came up with last night right before I fell asleep. The idea behind "How To Catch A Mermaid," is pretty self-explanatory from the painting. Miss Merm looks absolutely mesmerized by the jewels that the fisherman has thrown down. You can see just the very bottom of the fisherman crouched in his boat at the top of the ocean waiting ever-so-patiently for her to touch the glittering prize.
