I started this original mixed-media piece by collaging different papers onto a wrapped canvas. I sketched in the poppy and then used some decorated papers that I had done a few years ago for the flower itself. I tore these into shapes of the petals. I then added the baby face made using polymer clay in a mold that I made of a tiny antique doll. The stem is painted with acrylic paint and has embroidery floss as an embellishment.
One of a kind, not a print or copy. Signed and dated on front, signed, dated and titled on back.
Comes with Certificate of Authenticity from EBSQart.
