
Raku sculpture hand formed using ceramic clay bisque fired in a kiln and cooled. It is then hand glazed using specialty glazes and refired to 1850 degrees. I then pull it RED hot out of the kiln using specialty tongs and welders gloves and place it in a pit of Oregon Pine needles to "smoke"..this is what causes the unique color effects.
