Flowers are to me the essence of the spirit. Within each I see a different personality and energy. This dahlia spoke to me of romantic love, with visions of Venus and Aphrodite wrapped up in its petals. Photographed digitally with a Canon G3 in natural light and saved in raw format. Photos are are editied in photoshop to bring out the feeling that inspired me to take the photo.
