The botanical drawings of Edward Lear have come into the  public domain. Beautiful illustrations, really some of the finest I have seen anywhere. As I admired them, I thought it would be hard to improve on them in anyway, expect to perhaps pull them out of the botanical style and "weave" them into a deep and passionate and rich, modern, almost tapestry like style. Anything less would be an excersize in fultility.  So with that goal in mind this is the Red Maccaw.

Fractal Blue Maccaw was recreated and reillustrated in CS6 (compilation) Artmatic 5 (fractal generation) onOne software, (visual effects)e
