I find the image of the greenman, the protector of the wild places, the Green Knight, to be fascinating. This mixed media handling is rich in detail and texture, including pressed leaves, painted and printed leaves, and spirals. The green man himself is a portrait of a friend; his image has appeared in many of my works.
