The HUNDERTWASSER HOUSE (Hundertwasserhaus) is an amazing building complex in Vienna, Austria. This expressionist landmark was designed by the eclectic Viennese architect and painter Friedensreich Hundertwasser, whose work reminds me of a journey into Alice in Wonderland.

The development of such expressionist architecture is part of the European avant garde movement that began in the early twentieth century, from which sprang the legacy of the Art Deco and Bauhaus movements.
