I crossed paths with a tiny mole this morning. Buddha, one of my queenslands, had dispatched it while trotting out in front of me. He is quick as lightening....a formidable killer. It was still alive. I watched it for a bit and, since it was in the shade, decided to leave it and check it on the return trip. Mole left its body during my walk. Maus, my female queensland sniffed delicately at it. She is not a killer. I am always so awe struck by the tiny claws and paddle feet. It’s a bit like seeing a new born human baby. Definitely a magical moment. Well, Mole's death is part of nature. In honor of mole I created this rabbit painting. I paint mostly predatory animals of the wild so this time I took a vacation from the usual. They all have their place in nature.By commenting, you agree to our Community Guidelines.
