Art: 'TED' by Artist Gretchen Del Rio

So named after my infamous black cat called Ted Bundy. That was not his original name, but my neighbor nick named him Ted Bundy because he was a serial killer like the human Ted. However and of course, the cat’s prey is animal and  consists of moles, mice, rats and an occasional gopher. He brings home the half eaten remains either to me or the neighbor. I have been patient and  praise him even if the carcass has made it to the living room rug and I happen to step on it in the dark. This painted cat reminds me of Ted because he can often be found in the garden sun flexing his claws during a dream. He is lazy as are all cats when they aren’t pursuing dinner and has enjoyed his life as far as I can tell.
